The festival is run by the work of many volunteers, both before and during the actual day.

We welcome all homemade puppets! But, even if you don't make a puppet, you can march in the parade. Please check out our FAQ.
Food Stalls
Local businesses in the Peterborough Downtown often hang children’s artwork in their windows during the week of the festival. If you would like your business to participate, please let us know!
I Have Talent!
If you have a performance, attraction, or other special activity that is both kid-centered and relevant to this year's theme, we would love to hear about it. We are always looking for artists to share their talent and locals to share their oddities (a plane that kids can climb in, for example!). The complete festival schedule will be finalized by late winter. Please read our FAQ and contact us if you think you can provide an enriching experience for children at this or next year’s festival!
