We are pleased to announce the 15th annual Children and the Arts Festival to be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2008 in downtown Peterborough. A year of planning and great community cooperation culminates in this all-day event, where we see the streets closed to vehicular traffic and filled instead with song, laughter, parading Giant Puppets, food, fun, dancing, chalk art, the Art Walk, and something for everyone who loves art and children.  Our schools, businesses, organizations, and families come together to create this very special day and it attracts children and their families from throughout the Monadnock region and beyond.

Within this web site, we'll be sharing our history and our future, in the hopes that other communities can benefit from our experiences and bring to their towns and their children the excitement and joys of the arts.
